Dudu Garcia lives and works in Rio de Janeiro, where he has developed his research since 2001. He was part of the group of artists at Fábrica Bhering, and the first to occupy the building. His work has been shown in museums and galleries in Brazil and abroad, among them the Museu de Arte Moderna do Rio de Janeiro, the Museu de Arte Moderna da Bahia, Centro Cultural dos Correios and Paço Imperial, and in group exhibitions at Anita Schwartz in Rio de Janeiro and Luisa Strina and Nara Roesler in São Paulo. Abroad he has shown in France (Galerie Béarat), England (Gallery 32), Belgium (Tendler Gallery), the United States (Violet Ray) and Japan (Motoazabu Gallery, Roppongi Hills).
